George Blake's file (2012)

"George Blake's file" is a fictitious document reporting the espionage activities of the British-Soviet double agent George Blake. The drawings are hand-made imitations of pages from declassified documents released by the US intelligence agencies on the web. In the Blake's file the media publications about Blake from 1950s (the time he was active as a spy in Britain and Germany) up to 2007 (when he was awarded the Order of Friendship by Vladimir Putin) are pieced together with fragments of official correspondence, interrogation transcripts and surveillance logs and photographs from the FBI's "Russian spy case" of 2010. The work was made as part of the Berlin Tunnel project.
